Reality TV has taken over American. It's getting to the point where it's hard to find a show on television that doesn't have some sort of reality spin to it. Here is a list of the top 10 worst reality TV shows.
| 1. | My Super Sweet 16- Is there anything more nauseating then watching spoiled rich girls whining about not getting a new Lexus? I don't know if there is a better advertisement for contraceptives than this horrible MTV show. |
| 2. | Britney and Kevin: Chaotic- The train wreck that is Britney Spears and "K-Fed" began with this pathetic look into their daily lives. If anyone didn't have a clue that these two were destined for divorce court, this show provided the ammunition. |
| 3. | Temptation Island- The premise of the show was that four unmarried couples with problems in their relationships were thrust onto an island to test their supposed monogamy. Besides the contestants looking like extras on a Jerry Springer marathon, the show's premise and motivation were disgusting. Welcome to reality TV America! |
| 4. | Hogan Knows Best- Fans of "The Hulkster" soon realized that all this reality show really is, is a failed attempt to launch the career of their untalented daughter who is as annoying as she is beautiful. The show is obviously scripted to the point of absurdity, while all the while plugging products in a not so discreet way. ("Hold on mom, I'm on my new Chocolate phone") |
| 5. | Mr. Personality- The reality show hosted by fame political bimbo Monica Lewinsky was so absurd (a woman picked men with masks on, hence judge them on their personality) that it even lowered Lewinsky's status even further (if that is possible). |
| 6. | The Real Housewives of Orange County- Basically this show is like watching 5 Dinah Lohan' s ruin their kids lives while trying to appear trendy and famous. If Super Sweet 16 is the best advertisement for contraceptives, this show is the best advertisement for not getting married. |
| 7. | The Mole- All I remember about this show was that it starred Anderson Cooper sending people around the world to find clues while their existed a "mole" in their group to foil their plans. If I'm correct, Frank Stallone turned out to be the mole.........I think. |
| 8. | Married by America- One of the laziest ideas (and quite possibly worst) for a reality show. American's called in and voted on mates for girls and guys who then lived in a house together with the winning couple having the choice of getting married on live TV. To the surprise of absolutely no one, the couple choice not to get married. |
| 9. | The Two Corey's- I'm putting this show on the list not because it's a bad show, but because it's incredibly depressing to watch. Former child stars Corey Haim and Corey Feldman are so pathetic to watch as they discover how much of their lives they have ruined through drugs and bad choices that it's almost more painful to watch the show then be on of the Two Corey's. No......check that....it's actually not that bad. |
| 10. | Tough Enough- This WWE reality show looks even worse now in light of recent events (Chris Benoit) then it did when it first aired. The show puts aspiring wrestlers through grueling and abusive training, showing the rigors of the business. |

A lot of these are just hilariously bad, though. Brit and Kevin: Chaotic...oh man this was just wonderfully awful. And Temptation Island--what a bad bad idea. Convince couples to join a reality cast so that they can destroy their relationships.
Comment by: buccicone.2 Does anyone remember the name of the reality show from either 2003-2004 that had a woman named Charlotta? I think she won. It is driving me crazy and I can not find the name anywhere...i think it lasted for only one or two seasons.
