Ways YOU Can Help Save The Planet--My Own Personal List Of Green  
HOW TO

This is a list of all the things I currently do to help lower my carbon footprint on the planet. All are easy and things that anyone can and should do! If you have a tip, add it!!

	recycle everything you can
	compost everything you can
	use CFLs only (compact florescent lightbulbs)
	eco-walk (when walking pick up trash and recyclables in your walking route)
	freecycle.com (if its still usable, do NOT throw it away--give it away to someone else)
	vegetarian lifestyle (vegan if you can handle it)
	buy local
	buy organic
	buy non-toxic cleaners--preferably plant-based
	print on both sides of your paper
	end the cycle of junk mail by getting off mailing lists you do not want to be on
	use reusable shopping bags and say no to paper and plastic
	do NOT buy bottled water--get a Brita!
	catch rainwater and use it for your plants instead of city water
	turn off lights/water when not in use
	combine shopping/errand trips into one trip whenever possible
	invest in a hybrid car
