Top 10 Free Christmas gifts to give a mom..and you don't have to be her children to give them to her!

1. Give the gift of an hour or two of uninterrupted time to a Mom to do whatever she wants. Sometimes a quick break from kids or normal life is enough to rejuvenate her!
2. Give Mom a day of doing the mundane chores in the house; laundry, cleaning, etc.
3. Write her a letter, specifically stating what you love about her and what makes her special. Even if you are not her kids, this would be uplifting!
4. If she has small children, babysit for her..preferably for about half a day i.e. several hours!! Time goes extremely fast when a Mom with little kids has some time to herself. Make the time longer than the usual 1-2 hours of free time.
5. Offer to help her spring clean and usher in the nice weather together.
6. Make her a "spirit jar": get any jar type container in your house, and fill it with pieces of paper with inspirational quotes written on them; she can open one a day for the year or one a month, etc.
7. Wash and vacuum her car for her. Moms with kids (esp younger ones) rarely have their car spotless!
8. Do something in regards to beauty for her. Assuming we all have some beauty products in our homes, use them to make her feel pretty! Do her nails, hair, makeup, etc.
9. Run an errand for her. Moms have endless to-do lists!
10. Cook a meal for her, with whatever is in your house; or when you cook a meal for your family, double it and freeze it for her.
