My Musical Equipment "Bucket List"!
TOP #
Tags: shopping, bucket list, instruments, music
As a musician, I'm most excited and interested in owning a variety of interesting musical instruments and recording gear. This list highlights the top 10 items I absolutely MUST HAVE before I die.
| | Apple iMac desktop computer - The reasons I want this are simple, Macs are great for recording music, video, and generally being easy to use. They are so versatile, not to mention great looking. I've always wanted one, and it's high on my list of priorities. |
| | Yamaha SHS-10 Keytar Midi Controller - One of my favorite styles of music is the kind that sounds like it could score a video game. Keytars are incredible because they are keyboards built for soloing. You wear them like a guitar, with a strap (hence the name), so you can really rock out while playing. |
| | Boss BR-600 Digital Recorder - A compact, portable, notebook sized recording unit, which can be battery operated. All you need to record with this is a guitar, patch cable, the unit, and batteries. It's the perfect unit for quick and quality recording of demos or live events. |
| | Glockenspiel - They have a unique ringing sound which can, with the right melody, liven up any song or piece of music. |
| | Boss RC2 Loop Pedal - An effects pedal for guitar or bass that allows you to loop your playing so you can build interesting and satisfying pieces in real time, even if you are playing alone! Great for writing and improvising, as well as live performances. |
| | Vintage Les Paul Electric Guitar - Not only are they gorgeous to look at, but vintage instruments also sound amazing. While I love my current electric, if I could have a real vintage guitar, and an authentic Les Paul at that, I'd jump at the chance! |
