Reasons to Hate Barry Bonds

Barry Bonds has been the face of baseball now for six years. With a record-breaking 73 home runs in 2001, a record-shattering 232 walks in 2004 and four straight MVP awards, Bonds' resumé in the 21st century speaks for itself. And now he nears the most hallowed record in all of sports, the all-time home run record (previously held by Hank Aaron). And those are just some of the reasons why people hate him. Why do you?

1.	In baseball, Bonds is Richard Nixon and steroids are Watergate.
2.	Cheated on his wife
3.	Cheated on his taxes
4.	755 and 756 are uttered on every media circuit in the English speaking world every day.
5.	日本語): are the only thing the Japanese speaking sports world is saying as well.
6.	He's a friggin' jerk.
7.	He claims that it is racism that causes people not to want him to break the home run record (when, the last time I checked, the record was held by a black man).
8.	It is easy. A rude, obnoxious athlete who is lying about destroying the integrity of the game is the perfect poster child for the most despised athlete in sports.
9.	He won't just hit the damn 756th... its got to be at home... its got to be in front of Bud Selig... no one will pitch to him...
10.	He hates the media so the media eggs us on to hate him.
