The most popular video game of all time has had many variations over the years. Here is a list of the top 10 Madden football games. Where will Madden 2008 fall on the list?
| 1. | Madden NFL 2004 (Michael Vick on Cover)- This Madden reinvented the highly popular "franchise" and owner modes allowing users to get more in depth with the game and their team. You could also for the first time edit historical rosters, putting names into the teams. Training Camp mode was introduced allowing users to increase their player's attributes before the season begins. |
| 2. | Madden NFL 1995 (Madden on Cover)- New offensive schemes and play calling along with improved graphics and the ability to choose your endzone celebration. |
| 3. | Madden NFL 2006 (Donovan McNabb on Cover)- Allowed user to play in "Superstar" mode, controlling one player throughout his career. You could import your player from NCAA Football. Added Precision Passing to the offensive attack. |
