Looking for a great vacation spot? How about New Orleans!

1.	People watching in theFrench Quarter - just an amazing place to sit, have a cup of coffee au lait from Cafe Du Monde or a beer, and hit Bourbon Street at night
2.	The history - get up early and hit the NPS for their free tour - it's excellent an informative
3.	The cultural history - Cross over to Algiers on the ferry and see Blaine Kern's Mardi Gras museum, as well as the two museums in Jackson Square
4.	The music - this is the birthplace of jazz - Visit Tipitina's and hear great music, and also Preservation Hall. The street musicians in Jackson Square aren't bad either.
5.	The nature - take a swamp tour to learn about the ecology and visit the aquarium.
6.	The food - so many great restaurants (I'll miss Uglesich's)
7.	Who dat say dey beat dem Saints? - Check out a sports match - Saints, Hornets or Tulane's teams.
8.	The danger and eeriness - this is the city of Anne Rice, so take a nighttime ghost tour or if you're brave, take a guided tour of the cemeteries (not safe on your own or at night.)
9.	Because it will help rebuild one of America's great cities.
