Many of these "Startups" have:
A) Been Around a Few Years
B) Have a steady stream of Buzz surrounding them
C) Have anywhere somewhere close to 100 employees or far more than that as far as people working for them.
D) Have a clearly defined product set, so you probably won't expect to see anything "New" from them,
So, there's nothing to watch. Wired should have done more homework.
