| | How can I exchange data, sounds or images with another handset? |
| | This would be dependent on the kinds of connections your handset has available. Most handsets these days come with Bluetooth technology, allowing a wireless transfer of data between devices. Alternatively if the two devices share a common memory card type, then this can be used to transfer files quickly from one to the other. |
| | How can I transfer music or images onto my phone from my PC or Laptop? |
| | The ideal option would be via a data cable connection between the handset and the computer. If a cable with a USB connector on one end came with your handset, plug this into your computer with the other end going into your handset and then dependent on the software that may or may not come with the package, you can then use this to transfer images or music to and from your PC. If your handset was not supplied with software for your PC, try the manufacturers website. |
| | I can’t locate my user manual; can I download it from elsewhere? |
| | If you go to your handset manufacturer’s website you will be able to download a manual directly from them. |
| | My battery doesn’t last very long. |
| | The most common reason for short battery life is multiple applications running at the same time. Try firstly keeping the Bluetooth (if applicable) turned off unless in use at the time, lowering the display and backlight time settings and turn off any unnecessary alarms. If afterwards, the problem persists contact your manufacturer for further advice. |
