Books every child should read, or have read to them.

Winnie the Pooh- A.A. Milne. They're old fashioned, yes, but they're lovely all the same.

Swallows and Amazons- Arthur Ransom. I'm sticking with the old here, but for good reason. This book is utterly marvelous. A wholesome adventure book that I adored as a child.

Peter Pan- J.M. Barrie. Again, a gorgeous story, and one that you can come back to as an adult and still appreciate.

Fox in Socks- Dr. Seuss. Kids love the Dr. Seuss books because of the rhymes, and the silliness in them.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar- A great story book for younger children.

Eloise- Kay Thompson. I great book for children who can read fairly confidently. They'll love Eloise.
