Sleeping in Luxury: Best Bed Sheets

The most luxurious thing in the world to me is a bed plumped with gorgeous pillows and lovely cotton sheets. Ironed sheets are the very best - smelling of lavender with a feeling of texture - light texture - as they get older they do get better. The color should match your mood - and the blankets or comforters should be lush as well. So here are my top five (with a special 6th from France)

| 3. | The Purists - the best cotton in simple shades - beautifully tailored - sumptuous |
| 4. | Nancy Kolte - a designer sheet above the flock |
| 5. | Scandia Down - I assume made in America - but like a heavenly night in the mountains - warm and natural |
| 6. | (and the one beyond reach - but to sleep on them is sheer heaven - Porthault - the older they get - the better they are) |
