1.	Canaries - prefer not to be handled, so they're ideal for people who don't want a high-maintenance bird
2.	Finches - social birds, so it's best to have a pair, but do not like to be handled
3.	Parakeets - very social, easily trained with patience
4.	Cockatiels - love to be handled by people
5.	Quaker Parakeets - energetic, very vocal; illegal in some states because of threat to native agriculture
