| | The weather is wonderful as well due to the numerous microclimates; you can go from warm sunshine to cool fog to drizzle in 30 minutes. |
| | Driving through the redwoods with a great mellow play list, jazz, opera or some mellow house music is great. |
| | There are a few destinations, from drive-through trees to superbly cheesy roadside attractions like Confusion Hill that really makes the drive fun! |
| | Finish up by the beach with a warm sweater and a short picnic for sunset or hit the casino overlooking the beach and have a very nice dinner with a great wine list. |
| | Horse-back ride, kayaking on the bay or rock-climbing. |
