Omaha, Nebraska lets you get away from it all and relax in a small town enviorment. There are many things to keep you occupied and below are just a few:
| | While it is a smaller city, there are so many things to do, especially in the summer! |
| | The College World Series is great for a fun family adventure to the ball park |
| | Henry Doorly zoo (a major tourist attraction). |
| | Downtown there is a small district called the Old Market, complete with wonderful boutiques and shops, tons of upscale bars, and a variety of different restaurants. |
| | There are two wonderful museums, the Joslyn museum and the Durham Western Heritage museum, both downtown. |
| | Quite a few national landmarks reside in Omaha, including Boys Town, the General Dodge house(in Council Bluffs), and the birthplace of Gerald Ford. |
| | The Lauritzen Gardens rest close to the river in downtown Omaha. |
| | The Western Historic Trails Center, dedicated to preserving, commemorating, and educating on the Lewis and Clark, Mormon, California, and Oregon trails, is a terrific educational site. |
| | There are dozens of more activities and places to visit, but not enough room to mention them all!! |
