St. George Island, located in the panhandle of Florida, is a beautiful vacation spot that you and your family will truly enjoy!

	It has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
	It has a state park at the east end.
	It’s not full of commercial attractions, and yet a very nice family vacation with activities for all from just beach walking, shelling, sea turtles, sea life, great fishing, and did I mention the beautiful beaches?
	You can buy fresh seafood right on the island from the locals and cook it that evening - YUM!
	It is close to Apalachicola, FL which has some nice shopping, restaurants, and a fishery for the kids to visit as well as some great charter fishing captains.
	In July and August you can catch your own blue crabs right in the surf.
	You can rent kayaks and bikes locally for some nice exercise.
	If you enjoy photography, there are some of the greatest pictures just waiting for you to snap.
	There are accommodations to suit all - from inexpensive and frugal to expensive with hot tubs and heated swimming pools. Houses and condos. I recommend the condos on the east end for 1st timers.
	In my opinion, the best place for a family vacation or get together. I have had friends get married there. I have gone there for the last 13 years, sometimes multiple times in a year.
