Here is a list of the best museums in Chicago. I have been to all of these before, and I personally recommend all of them.
| 1. | Field Museum - Always has great exhibits about neat things like weather, natural disasters, etc. |
| 2. | The Art Institute - Has some of the most famous paintings and sculptures in the world |
| 3. | John G. Shedd Aquarium - Houses more than 8,000 aquatic animals and is a must see for anyone who loves water exhibits |
| 4. | Chicago Children's Museum - A must-visit if you have children. There are lots of great exhibits and unlike most museums, kids are allowed to touch everything. |
| 5. | Museum of Science and Industry - This museum has everything from exhibits about the human body, to exhibits about world war II. A must see! |
| 6. | Newberry Library -An often over-looked gem in Chicago, this library has several rare books, manuscripts and maps. A real neat place for history buffs. |
