The Top Ten Movies Based on Comic Books

Here we have my very own list of the top 10 movies that are actually comic book adaptations. Being an avid comic book fan, I decided to create this list.
| 1. | The Dark Knight - I know, I know its not even out yet, but I (like most people) are expecting this to be a summer blockbuster. |
| 2. | The X-men Series- Wonderful adaptations. Hugh Jackman is perfect as Wolverine, and the plot *almost* follows some of the comics very well. Being one of my favorite series of comics, of course this will rank high. |
| 3. | Superman- Many movies have been made with Supes in them, But not many have been as good as the one we were recently graced with. |
| 4. | Batman Begins - Although Im not personally a big Batman fan, this deff ranks up there as one of the better comic book adaptations. |
| 5. | Sin City- Yup, it is actually based on a comic book by comic legend Frank Miller. It almost exactly follows the plot of the comic books, and is a cult smash hit. |
| 6. | Hellboy- Again, another one that many people dont know is actually based off a comic book. Ive never read the Comic books, but I can assume that the plot is almost close. |
| 7. | The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen- An amazing Alan Moore comic series, and a damn good movie as well. |
| 8. | Ironman- The 2008 adaptation of the comic series is very, very good. The casting is amazing, and Robert Downy Jr. has made one hell of a comeback for himself. The plot is basically the same from the comics, but updated so that instead of Vietnam, we are dealing with the modern day Vietnam, Iraq/Afghanistan. |

| 10. | Hulk- Either one of the two movies are good, but the second one especially. The second movie eliminates all of the plot backstory, and jumps right into the action. |
| 11. | Electra- Not as good as the other ones mentioned on the list, but still....it IS a movie that was mad from a comic book. |
| 12. | 30 Days of Night- Another one that really nobody knew was originally a comic book. Having not seen this one myself, I cant make comments, but I have heard that it is very, very good adaption of the comic. |
