Best Drives: Pacific Coast Highway, California
BESTS
Tags: Pacific Coast Highway, California, Driving
Pacific Coast Highway in California is a drive not to be missed. The great view is not the only reason to check this highway out, below are some other reasons:
| | Winding road but has nice scenic view of the ocean |
| | Bodega Bay (remember Hitchcock's "The Birds"?) to the petrified forest and across the Golden Gate Bridge in the north, to the fantastic shops of Monterey and the beauty of Half Moon Bay in the south, there's nothing like it. |
| | Very scenic |
| | Beautiful bays, houses, bridges |
| | Big Sur is a wonderful natural spot. |
| | If you time it right, you can hit the long straight stretch close to sunset. |
| | I have a Mini Cooper, so the twists and turns through Big Sur are quite a bit of fun. Unless you're the passenger. |
| | Take a look on Google Earth for more details. |
