Best Drives: Route 17
BESTS
Tags: Route 17, Driving, New York
Route 17 in New York between Middletown and Binghamton is one of the best drives I have been on in a long time. Here are some reasons why:
| | There is a zone where you can't get any radio stations but there is a great diner in Roscoe. |
| | Lots of cops around Liberty so slow down. |
| | Claimed to be the prettiest state highway in terms of views |
| | Beautiful open views |
| | You follow a river much of the time, |
| | It’s an Eisenhower Scenic Highway. |
| | Not much to stop at really until you hit Binghamton, but when I was headed to school from NYC area, it was a nice road to travel. |
| | Very few cops too. |
