I love Ketchikan, Alaska. Here are some great reasons to live here!

Even though it rains all the time, because it's a rainforest, it's such a beautiful land that it's easy to ignore the constant downpour. (Sometimes!)

We have a huge art community, because not everyone can play outside all the time.

The fishing is great and salmon, halibut, rockfish, and cod are always available.

Living on an island with no road system means you have greater appreciation for traveling anywhere else!

Jobs are easy to come by.

Almost everyone is eager to help their neighbours and even strangers.

Music is important to people here and every weekend there is a live band playing somewhere in the city.
