The series "Heroes" on NBC is incredibly popular, and it is going into it's third season this Fall. This is my Top 5 List of the best characters in the series.
| 1. | Noah Bennet - Originally known only as HRG (Horned Rimmed Glasses), this agent of the organization known as "The Company" is one cool guy. He doesn't have any superpowers, but everything about him exudes awesomeness. He is also a family man, and will do whatever it takes to protect the ones he loves. |
| 2. | Hiro - Hiro is probably one of the best-known characters from Heroes. He has the power to bend space/time in order to travel wherever--or whenever--he likes. What makes him so popular is that he is just an endearing character; you feel for him, and hope for the best for him. |
| 3. | Ando - Ando is Hiro's "sidekick," in that he often winds up traveling with Hiro on his adventures. Ando also doesn't have any superpowers; however, this is what allows the audience to relate to him. Ando is also very funny: in the first season, he left Hiro for a short time so he could meet a girl he met online. |
| 4. | Sylar - Also known as Gabriel Gray, Sylar is the antagonist of the first and second season. He has the ability to absorb the powers of any super-powered human he kills. The audience is always left on the edge of their seats, asking themselves what he'll do next and whether or not he can be stopped. |
| 5. | David Linderman - throughout the first season, one keeps hearing about this enigmatic mob-boss named Linderman. From what you hear, you expect him to be a nasty, foul person. However, once you meet him, you may find him to be a rather nice guy. That is, of course, until you find out about how he wants to blow up New York City in order to unite the world. |
