There's a lot of things to do for free in Dallas. Here are some of my favorites:

The Malls (it's usually hot in Dallas, and the mall is a great place to hang out, plus there's a gazillion malls in Dallas)

White Rock Lake (free and relaxing, lots of lush trees)

View the sculptures downtown (take pictures in front of the sculptures in Pioneer Park)

Take a drive at night (lots of beautiful lights, and you can drive for an hour, and still have things to see)

Check out all the nice hotels there (you can also request to tour the rooms, for free, no obligation)

Visit the free museums at Fair Park (not all museums are free, but you can verify it beforehand on their websites)
