Top 5 Horse Collectibles for the American Horse Lover
BESTS
Tags: horses, collectibles, breyer, pony, painted
There are thousands of brands of various collectibles that are sold in America. There are hundred that are horse collectibles. There are only five that leave the rest behind... A horse is a creature of beauty, loyalty, and all things good. They should be portrayed as just that, and these companies have accomplished it.
| 1. | Breyer Horses: Through the years, these models have become increasingly more popular and more valued as old models were retired and new models were set on the shelves. They are made of a number of materials and their prices range from five dollars to hundreds. There is something for every horse enthusiast to enjoy. |
| 2. | Painted Ponies: I first encountered the full-sized versions of these painted models and could not forget them since. Now I have many smaller versions and some ornaments. Again, the prices range based on the model and size. Each pony is individually designed and has its own story. They're all unique. |
| 3. | Stone Horses: A collection by Peter Stone, his models are original and inspirational. The prices can be over or under fifty dollars based on their model and quality. Models you won't want to miss. |
| 4. | Starlite Creations: Though this company does not focus solely on horses, the models that they have produced are beautiful. The prices are generally considerably higher, often hundreds or ever thousands of dollars. |
| 5. | My Little Pony: As much as you hate it when that goofy theme song gets stuck in your head, we horse lovers owe a lot to this company. As kids, mom and dad often don't want us playing with porcelain and fine materials (aka breaking them) after paying good money for them. Instead, we get plastic substitutes to bash around until we get older. Ultimately, My Little Pony was just a step we all had to take to get to be the true horse lovers we are. Well, it was worth it. |
