The following is a list of the 10 most costly hurricanes of all-time. This list looks at the damage inflicted and adjusts for inflation, indicating what it would have cost to repair the damage in 2005 dollars. Note, in the earlier part of the 20th century hurricanes weren't given names but were classified by where they landed.
