New Boston Michigan hosts 3 metroparks of the metropark system for SE Michigan. What a great place to get out and enjoy.

	Oakwoods Metropark -- hosts the nature center and often offers free / low cost classes for children. There is also a golf course here.
	Willow Metropark -- hosts a variety of recreation events like free concerts (sans the park admission), olympic size swimming pool, swimming lessons by certified lifeguards, miles and miles of biking/running/walking trails (paved), boat rentals for the Huron River and inland lakes, thousands of trees which are very vibrant in the fall, nature trails (non-paved), cross country skiing and sledding in the winter. There are picnic places EVERYWHERE -- it's one of the best parks in the area.
	Lower Huron Metropark -- hosts a brand new waterpark, which opened in the summer of 2008. It has a lazy river, a pool and a LOT of slides and waterfalls. There are many places to have a picnic next to the Huron River. If you are in a scout troup, there is a campground, various playgrounds and golfing opportunities.
