Best American Metal Bands That Get Overlooked
FAVORITES
Tags: Metal, Death Metal, Heavy Metal, American Metal, Black Metal, Metalcore
These are some of my favorite American metal bands that very few people have ever heard of.
| | Lupara - Great band from Chicago. They have a Slayer like feel to them (with the exception of the vocals). Their self-titled CD is one of my favorites I have found this year. For fans of Lamb of God, Slayer, and Pantera. |
| | Martriden - They are one of the very few American "Symphonic Black Metal" bands I actually like. For fans of Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, and Old Man's Child. |
| | Winds of Plague - I don't know what I can say about these guys, they are all over the place. They mix hardcore with metalcore with symphonic black metal with death. Just listen to them. |
| | Remembering Never - I have been into these guys for a while now (like 5 years), but nobody really knows who they are. RN has some of the best structural songs out there. For fans of Sick of it All, Hatebreed, and Lamb of God. |
| | Burn in Silence - Unfortunately this band broke up not to long ago, but it doesn't mean that their CD is crap. Honestly, they could have been the next big metal band. For fans of Bleeding Through, From Autumn to Ashes, and As I Lay Dying. |
