In a pinch? Try these unique and fun tips and tricks to save some moolah.
| | Cut dryer sheets into quarters - you actually don't need a whole sheet to get the job done. |
| | Get a pumper for your shampoo: 1 pump for short hair, 2 pumps for long hair. |
| | Halogen and/or fluorescent light bulbs are well worth the investment. |
| | Always use rags/old discarded soft-cloth clothing to clean with, you'll save on paper towels. |
| | Use strips of old newspapers as opposed to kitty litter. |
| | Use sheets of newspapers as opposed to indoor doggy potty pads. |
| | Cut back on disposables as much as possible, or re-use sturdy disposables such as silverware. |
| | Consider cloth diapers/menstrual pads/nursing pads as well as wash rags instead of wipes. |
| | Wash your towels only once a week, or only when they truly need it. |
| | Pour boiling water over sponges to sanitize them so you can use them longer. |
| | Re-fill sports and water bottles at home instead of throwing them out and buying more pre-made bottles. |
| | ...many more to come. |
