cheap cat toys that they love
INFORMATIVE
Tags: cats, cat toys, catnip, milk, pompoms, paperbags, free toys
Here is a list of things you can make for your cats to play with that are free or cheap
| 1. | A paper bag from the grocery store, just drop it on the floor. They love to climb in the bag, rip the bag up, sit on top of the bag. |
| 2. | milk rings are great. They will sit and pat them and fling them in the air, carry it around. |
| 3. | You can buy catnip puffs at the pet store and the cats love them but if you go to the hobby store and buy medium pom pom's and then go to the pet store and just buy catnip you can get a ziplock and combine the catnip and the pompom's and you have the same thing only alot cheaper. |
| 4. | You can crumple up a little bit of Reynold's Wrap and they love to chase that ball. |
| 5. | ponytail holder's (not rubber bands) are also very fun. |
| 6. | Cats like to pat the ice around and also like to lick it. |
| 7. | Get an old pair of pantyhose and tie it to a stick and let your cat chase it |
| 8. | Get a plastic container and put some cat treats in. They will figure out how to get the treats. |
| 9. | Get your fishing pole and attach a cat toy. This is fun for both of you. |
| 10. | Let a fly get into the house they will go crazy chasing it. |
| 11. | Use your empty pens and let the cats swat it back and forth |

This is quite accurate; I have done most of these things with my cat on purpose. However, my cat likes to eat ponytail holders for whatever reason, and so those are not appropriate toys for him (and thus, not necessarily appropriate for all cats). That's why I gave you a 4. Otherwise, this is great advice to people unfamiliar with cat entertainment! Comment by: mangoflute This is quite accurate; I have done most of these things with my cat on purpose. People should probably be warned about letting the cats play with ice: it's a hoot to watch (like a tiny hockey game), but the resulting puddles from the melted ice cubes can be a slipping hazard if they aren't cleaned up.
