These are my favorite places to shop online.

Amazon.com is my favorite because I feel the most secure with their sellers. I have never had a problem getting items that were misleading, and I have never had any shipping problems. Amazon sets the shipping charges, so buyers are never cheated out of their money. In addition, all of Amazon's items are "buy now", so you don't have to wait and hope you won an auction.

Ebay.com is your best bet if you are looking for items that are unusual or rare. Antiques and collectible items can be found here.

Barnesandnoble.com is an alternative place to buy new books. They are also very secure and shipping has never been a problem.

Half.com is another great site to buy books at cheap prices. Used books can be bought immediately, and are not auctioned. Half.com is a part of ebay, and it is a combination of ebay and amazon. Half.com offers "buy it now" and constant shipping prices.

Overstock.com is another site that offers a variety of items. They are not as cheap as they claim, but they do offer $2.95 shipping.
