I was writing about this topic and I found that there were so many that I could easily formulate a list and get the pointlessness off my chest.

Governments can fight wars, but there are people without homes and food.

Some people (including people in government) are so religious, and they use those values to shape policies which in turn can hurt people that don't share the same beliefs.

People continue to have multiple children in a world that is already over populated where millions of children go without parents, food, shelter, education, and basic medical treatment.

Governments can fund defense contracts to build new weapons, but cut funding for medical research.

Most citizens in the world today don't feel connected to each other, this keep us fighting as different nations instead of coming together as humans on one planet.
