Don’ts for Online Dating for Guys

If you want a shot at finding a nice girl, or that special someone that you would spend the rest of your life with, we have put together a list of things NOT to do when posting your personal ad or communicating online:
Don’ts - Be rude - be short - use graphic sex shots - don’t rush - Don’t respond to ads outside of their asking requirements - Don’t appear to be desperate (even if you are) don’t lie about your age or anything else!
| | Manners – don’t be rude or short with someone. Or ignore someone – it will come back to haunt you. |
| | Don’t pretend to be interested – if you are not, you can be honest, but don’t jump too quickly. The fish you just threw back could be someone else’s prize catch and it just slipped through your fingers. |
| | Photos – don’t put up any: graphic shots, sexual shots, party, party, party shots or shots that aren’t you. If you can’t show the honest side of you – don’t bother. They will find out. |
| | Slow down – don’t rush big fellow. There is plenty of time, and if you take it slow you might find that the one that you thought you weren’t interested in could be your best pal or the love of your life. |
| | Respond – but not for ads that you don’t qualify for. If they really want someone who is looking for the “M” word or “R” (marriage and relationship for those of you that couldn’t figure it out) and you are really just looking for some fun – don’t lead them on…it will come back to you, trust us. |
| | Don’t lie – you’ll get found out and waste everyone’s time. If you really hate Opera and it is her #1 thing – you might not be a match. Trust us, no one “learns” to love Opera. And if you are really 48 don’t pretend to be 28. |
| | Don’t misrepresent your relationship status – if you are married (well, in our opinion you shouldn’t be on the site, but find places where people are interested in that type of thing, not someplace where folks are looking for an honest relationship) say you are married. |
| | Don’t appear desperate – we can tell. |
| | Don’t talk about all of your failed relationships – concentrate on how you can turn that losing streak around. Trust us, we’ll figure out what is wrong with you! |
