Here is a relatively-short list of things I'd like to do before I die. Most people have already done everything on my list and for that they are lucky. I, however, live in the midwest, in a big city -- we have bars and clubs everywhere, but you won't find any of nature's truly amazing characteristics here. Well, maybe the lake, but that's dirty. :-p

	See mountains, preferably the Rockies or the Appalachians
	Go swimming in a crystal-clear, unpolluted, natural body of water
	Find a real four-leaf clover, preferably from a valley in Ireland
	Write a publisher-worthy book
	Live to see racism, sexism and homophobia completely abolished
	Live to see the day that conflicts of religious preferences no longer cause wars
	Meet, or at least receive an authentic autograph from, Paul McCartney or Ringo Starr
	Visit Egypt to see the Pyramids up close and personal
	Lay in a country field at midnight and gaze up at the stars
	Live to see the day that 'equal' becomes more than a relative term regarding mankind
	Find the strength to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change what I can and the wisdom to know the difference
