5 Ways to Survive Information Overload

In today's day and age information is everywhere, around every corner, lurking on ever webpage magazine article, and blog. Yet the problem of too much information is not really funny as it can lead to a feeling of being overwhelmed and stress. Here are five tips to avoid this problem
| | Figure out your goal. Do you need a specific piece of info? A general overview? An indepth view of a particular idea? Figure out what you want to accomplish and stick to it. If you want to know about famous Chicago rappers don't look at info about LA rappers. |
| | Make up questions about your goal and then answer them. This is a great tool to focus your search. |
| | Stop when you have enough information. When you have reached your goal you can quit extra reading or searching will only cause confusion at this point. |
| | If you are feeling overwhelmed stop, gather your thoughts and return to you goal and asses what you need. |
| | Know you source. If you narrow your sources down to reputable places you can weed out a lot of unwanted material. |
