Everyone has that person in their family that eats, sleeps, and breathes hunting. Wether it's for duck, deer, quail, hog, or squirrels, if they hunt then they're nuts about it.

1.	The number one gift for a hunter would have to be a new gun. I know my husband would absolutely pass out if I presented him with a new gun for christmas. The problem with this is trying to figure out what gun to get, or what kind of gun they like.
2.	Considering the number one gift is a gun, then I'm sure you were expecting the number two gift to be bullets. Just make sure you get the right bullets for the gun that you purchased.
3.	Next would be a gun strap. You think that any strap would due, but have you seen the selection? And if you have a picky hunter then it better be the right one. I decided on a good padded strap that holds extra bullets and, of course, is camo.
4.	A butcher set would be next. Depending on what kind of game your hunter hunts depends on what kind of set you need. My husband hunts deer and hogs so I bought a set that had a specific knife for every part of skinning and cutting up the animal.
5.	A good pocket knife is a must. It doesn't seem to matter how many or how often I buy my husband a knife he uses it on the daily. Big or small, long or short, it's just a good all around gift for a hunter.
6.	A set of knife sharpeners is also great. You get small ones for your small knives. You get big ones for your big knives. You even get one for serrated knives. Now, there are several different types of sharpeners so make sure you get the ones that your hunter prefers.
7.	Flashlights seem to go right along with knives according to my husband. It doesn't matter how many he has he uses them all. A great stocking stuffer would be a pocket led flashlight that is, of course, camo.
8.	A rechargeable spotlight. My husband has a spotlight but it plugs in to the power outlet in the atv. An annoyance to me since I'm the one that is usually operated the spotlight for him. A recharchable one allows him to carry anywhere and everywhere without having to worry about a cord and gives plenty of working time.
9.	Now I'm sure your hunter already has plenty but there is always something that gets ripped or torn and needs to be replaced so camo clothing is always on my husbands christmas list. Shirts, boots, cover-alls, pants, and I could go on for hours. You can't go wrong buying any kind of camo clothing.
10.	A carry-all camo bag holds all the above gifts in one spot and grants easy access to your hunter while he is out in the field. They make several different shapes and sizes but I found the perfect backpack that is easy to carry and has special pockets for everything.
