Best places to eat with kids in Folsom, CA

With small kids eating out isn't always fun or easy but some places are just easier to take kids out to eat. Note: I have 2 young kids who rarely get kid's meals and instead share an adult meal which is usually cheaper and healthier.
| | Texas West BBQ - More than one kid? Get them a burger on a whole wheat bun to share. Cheaper than a kid's meal and comes with lots of veggies on the bun and a side dish. |
| | Baja Fresh - Fast, fresh meals. You don't have to wait long for good food here. |
| | The Purple Place - While technically not in Folsom this El Dorado Hills restaurant has great activities for kids to play with while waiting for their meal - the kids love the Wiki Stix. |
| | Round Table Pizza - Good pizza, games and a salad bar. |
| | Mel's - I make an exception for the kid's meals at Mel's - they are served in a fun paper car the kids just love. The wait staff is happy to substitute the Oreo with pickles for my kids. |
| | Mr. Pickles - The kids share a turkey sandwich on whole wheat -- huge amounts of turkey and a free cookie too! |
