Fun things to do in Old Town, Maine!

Here are some things to do or things to see if you're ever in my hometown of Old Town, Maine!
| 1. | The water front. If you know Old Town, you'll know we're a mill town-- which means the river is important to us. Go down town and stop by the river, there's a park with a play ground. In the summer there's a sprinkler going. Its gorgeous down there and its the perfect place to sit and read a book. |
| 2. | The City Park Grill. If you're down at the water front and need a bite to eat you can stop at the City Park Grill. Its located at one end of the the park and its a nice quiet restaurant with an option to eat outdoors overlooking the river. |
| 3. | Old Town Canoe. On your way towards West Old Town you'll find Old Town Canoe which has the best canoes and kayaks! Stop in to find to get your own canoe, or pick up a life jacket as well as other things for the water! |
| 4. | The Public Library. This is more than just a great place to read a book. During the school year the library is filled with high school kids on any given night who take part in their numerous programs; from CRAP (Compulsive Reader's Anonymous Program) to You Be The Judge (a neat program which allows teens to discuss court cases and what their verdict would be) the library is a great asset to the community. |
| 5. | The Old Town High School. The high school offers out door tennis courts, recently redone, which are lit for some late night tennis playing. There is also a community pool which is open for early morning swim year round, and then free swim for kids during the summer. |

| 7. | Angelo's Pizza. A great place to enjoy some delicious pizza! |
| 8. | Hannaford. The local grocery store. |
| 9. | YMCA. Work out, enjoy the pool, sign up for different classes while the kids can do gymnastics, dance, or karate! |
