I'm an adult, but I feel like a really tall 6 year old. I still love cartoons and toys and even comic books. Here is the top 10 list of great gifts for your comic book guy. Note: I'm quite certain my Batman prejudice will be shown.
| 1. | A flat panel LCD 1080p TV. I know it's expensive, but you'll understand why it's a must a little later. |
| 2. | A Blu-ray player. Again, I know it's expensive but it's necessary. |
| 3. | A nice surround sound system. |
| 4. | Mattel's The Dark Knight Movie Masters figures. The coolest, affordable, action figures ever. Certainly a collection every comic book guy needs. |
| 5. | Iron Man on Blu-ray. The second best ilm of 2008. The Blu-ray is amazing |
| 6. | Origin: The True Story of Wolverine. There's a new Wolverine movie coming out. This book will get you ready for it. |
| 7. | Joker. The new graphic novel by Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo is said to be as good as The Killing Joke, widely considered to be the best Joker story ever. This new tale should be in stockings this Christmas. |
| 8. | Batman Begins on Blu-ray. In a little bit, I'm going to suggest getting THE best movie of 2008 on Blu-ray (The Dark Knight). You need Batman Begins to complete the story and get yourself caught up. |
| 9. | Watchmen. This graphic novel by Alan Moore is considered the best comic book of all time. It even appears on TIME's 100 all-time novels. Read the book before you see the movie next year. |
| 10. | The Dark Knight on Blu-ray. And...here...we...go. The best movie of 2008 NEEDS to be seen in HD. The DVD is great, but Batman kicks you in the teeth when you watch it in true 1080p high definition. |
