Top ten beer joints in my area
ENTERTAINING
Tags: Beer beer beer bere breer bbeerre, oops too many beers
The following list is for my favorite beer joints in walking distance from my house, or stumbling distance to my house.
| 1. | The Wooden Nickle - I like it for its name, no really, that's the only reason I like it. |
| 2. | Pat's Tap - They've got a great set of taps, many beers and never flat at Pat's Tap. Oh, wait that's kinda cheezy. |
| 3. | Mill Creek Blues - As you can guess from the name, they usually have a good blues band. |
| 4. | Frank's Place - CHEEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEERRRR! |
| 5. | Cleo's - This is the first bar I ever went to, I was about 6 and my dad and uncle brought me along while they were boozin' it up. The place looks exactly the same as it did back then. |
| 6. | Between the Locks - It's a bit of a hike, but it has an awesome atmosphere and great people to hang out with. |
| 7. | The Apple Pub - The shot girls are very, um, friendly. |
| 8. | The Bar - The drink specials, the bar tenders, and the games are all great. I like this place. The punk 21 year olds always seem to get into fights, which is entertaining. As Steve Martin said, " I remember my first beer!" |
| 9. | The Firefly Lounge - This place is nice because it is a bit out of the way and the bouncer is cool. |
| 10. | Basils - It has a bit of an "upper-class" feel, but they mix a good drink. |
| 11. | *) Frasier's - They get an honorable mention since I have spent so much money there. I must really like it for some reason. |
