For those who cheerfully identify as a nerd and want the swag to match. Especially if you actually use the word "swag."
| | The complete series of Firefly. In fact, you should have several copies of this - your personal viewing copy, the copy (or three) that you loan out to friends, the Blu-Ray copy that you bought for the features, even though you don't actually have a Blu-Ray player.... |
| | A nice copy of The Lord of the Rings. This is, after all, your Bible. You should have opinions about what makes a nice LOTR copy - illustrations or no? One volume or three? (There is no question regarding editions with film screencaps - they are strictly forbidden.) |
| | A t-shirt ordered from Thinkgeek, preferably with a math or science joke that the average person won't get. Best coordinated with a black trench coat and a knowing smile. |
| | Doctor Who merchandise - particularly if you are American, because the obscurity wins you geek points. |
| | A computer running some brand of Linux. Ubuntu is my preference but there are plenty out there. (Sorry, Mac users. You are cool too, but maybe not nerds.) |
| | A towel, obviously. |
