How to re-vamp your wardrobe for free

Instead of spending money on new clothes this season, look in your closet for things to recycle! Adding just one new piece of clothing or accessory can make an entire outfit seem fresh!
| | sweet t-shirt- cut the collar off a plain t-shirt to make it a boat neck shirt. Use fabric paint with stencils to add a pretty design and glue Rhine stones after the paint dries. Tie a ribbon around you waist for a cute belt. |
| | Fun hair accessories- cut the sleeve off a t-shirt and use it as a thick head band, use cute ribbons that come on bottles of perfume or lotion to tie into cute bows on ponytails, and hot glue fun buttons or game pieces to bobby pins for tiny barrettes, you can also paint them with nail polish for fun colors |
| | Jewelry-hot glue a pretty fake flower to a safety pin and wear on a sweater. String an old charm from a broken necklace on a thin ribbon to wear as a choker or bracelet |
| | Pretty pants- Take a pair of pants that are too short and cut them into capri pants, or roll them up to cuffed capri pants, make a pair of old jeans look intentionally broken-in by using bleach in a spray bottle, and rubbing sand paper over the seams, you can also make a pair of jeans look darker and sepia toned by soaking the in water with coffee grounds for a few hours |
| | Shoe make-over- canvas shoes can be soaked in RIT dye (you can buy this at the dollar store or grocery store in the laundry detergent isle) to renew the color, or use colored sharpie markers to decorate a pair of shoe laces. Make flip flops or flats cute buy hot gluing flowers or fun buttons to them. |
