Ten Best Moments from the movie "Fargo"
IMHO
Tags: Favorites, Movie, Fargo
These are my favorite scenes or moments from the Coen Brother's film "Fargo", which is one of my favorite movies of all time.
| | 1. Mike Yanagita meeting Marge Gunderson at the Radisson for drinks and crying out "You were such a super lady. And then... I've been so lonely". This was such a random scene that had nothing at all to do with the storyline, which made it all the better because it had nothing to do with the storyline! Brilliant. |
| | 2. The scene right after Mike Yanagita's scene, which was when Carl and his escort visit the Carlton Celebrity Room to see Jose Feliciano. The facial expressions on the escort's face are priceless. |
| | 3. When Marge was interviewing the girls who had spent the night with Carl and Grimsrud and one of the girls says "Go bears". Love the accent and her sense of pride. It makes me chuckle every time. |
| | 4. When Marge and Norm go to the buffet and get two to three plates each of food. Makes me want to try fricassee. |
| | 5. Carl driving around the parking lot at the airport in a haphazard manner just to steal a license plate |
| | 6. Scotty yelping out "Yeah!" when Jean asks him if he knows what a disparity is. |
| | 7. Carl mocking Jerry when he says "The heck d'ya mean?" |
| | 8. "No Jean, no money" |
| | 9. When Jerry is holed up in the hotel room at the end of the movie and the cops knock on the door and say "Mr. Anderson?", Jerry says "Who?", as if he could still get away with all of his shenanigans. What a dolt. |
| | 10. The fact that Marge does not go into labor or have her baby at any point in the movie. |
