Natural or Organic Treatments of Aneurysm
INFORMATIVE
Tags: Brain aneurysm, intracranial aneurysm, Berry aneurysm, saccular aneurysm, cerebral aneurysm
A suspected rupture of a brain aneurysm is a true medical emergency. No specific treatment can be given at home.
| | Traditional surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm involves making a large incision in the chest or abdomen, temporarily redirecting blood flow around the aneurysm, removing the aneurysm, and replacing the damaged portion of the blood vessel with a man-made graft. |
| | New techniques include the placement of a collapsible tubular device called a stent graft using a catheter instead of surgery. This is called endovascular aortic repair. |
| | Stent grafts are usually considered an alternative to traditional surgical repair of aortic aneurysms, especially in older or sicker people for whom surgery poses too great of a risk. |
