The card game bridge has what seems to be a complicated bidding system at first glance. This is a list to simplify the game, simplifying the system to four types of bids.
| 1. | Bid - Offer to win a number of "odd tricks" in excess of 6 (first 6="book") |
| 2. | Pass - No bid |
| 3. | Double - Increase scoring value |
| 4. | Redouble - Further increasing the scoring value of the trick |
