These are some simple pest control tips to help keep your home and yard free of skunks and raccoons.
| | Raccoons dislike cayenne pepper. |
| | To dislodge raccoons, an ammonia soaked rag works well. |
| | Keep them out of your chimney by putting a wire chimney cap on top of the chimmney |
| | Create a compost pile at least 100 feet away from your house |
| | Use a wild animal trap which is a cage with a trip plate inside of it with food on it. |
| | Spread lime around the area to keep skunks away. |
| | If a raccoon sets up housekeeping in your attic or chimney, chemical repellants -- such as oil of mustard -- are temporarily effective. |
| | Hot sauce around the garbage bins. |
