How to Turn off a Light Switch From the Other Side of the Room
HOW TO
Tags: Light Switch, Lighting, Turn off Light
Tired of stubbing your toe as you wander to the light switch in the middle of the night? Not anymore, here is a way to turn off a light switch from the other side of the room:
| | Find a ball of yarn or string. |
| | Measure across the room, and add 4 feet. |
| | Cut that amount out of your yarn. |
| | Make a slip knot and attach the loop over the switch. |
| | Get duct tape and wrap it around the switch sticky side up, and then sticky side down with a new piece, but you may want to measure before you do this. Tape ONLY the edge of the string. |
| | Get in bed, and pull! If the light doesn't go off, put on more tape. |
| | If necessary, make forms of the switch just in case you lose the tape when the yarn pulls it off. |
