Can you believe that some people still shop there? Well this is a list of the most overrated stores and brands. Agree?
| | Old Navy- Their clothes never fit quite right. |
| | Hot Topic- Bondage pants and t-shirts of awful bands is a pretty narrow product margin. |
| | Abercrombie & Fitch- Ridiculously expensive and plain-looking. |
| | Wal-Mart- Chintzy, yet chillingly powerful. |
| | Macy's- The most "old lady" of all department stores. |
| | Gap- Their clothes are for 20-30 somethings trying their damnedest to look non-descript. Everyone ends up with the same stuff. |
| | J. Crew- Uniform for the rich, preppy and boring. |
| | Hollister- Apparently printing the word "Hollister" on a cheaply made, see-through t-shirt that would only fit a five-year old yet is marketed towards teen girls makes it worth 1000x what it cost to make it. |
| | Prada - it is not Gucci or Dior |
| | Alfie Rivington Club Shoe Store - they are just shoes (forget the facade they put out) |
| | Manolo Blahnik shoes - just bc they were mentioned on "Sex & the City" it doesn't mean they are cool |
| | ColorTyme - rent-to-own is never your best option |
| | Sony - While a lot of the stuff is great - a lot of their stuff is crap |
| | American Eagle - its cheaper than Abercrombie for a reason |
| | Tiffany and Co. - its the same jewelry you find everywhere else... just way more expensive |
| | Overstock.com - Amazon will do |
| | Neiman Marcus - as far as department stores go |
| | Crate and Barrel - once again, ignore the facade |
