How to Pass a Speech and Drama Exam
HOW TO
Tags: Speech, Drama, Speech Exam, Drama Exam
For those of us who are more introverted, passing a drama or speech course can prove to be rather difficult. Here is how you can pass a speech or drama exam.
| 1. | Make sure you know your words. Once the words are in your head you can speak them as your own. |
| 2. | Fully understand the meaning of your piece. |
| 3. | Read the syllabus thoroughly. If you're going to the trouble to learn the pieces make sure they're the right pieces. |
| 4. | Check if you need to take copies into the exam room with you. |
| 5. | Smile. Smiling creates saliva which will prevent your mouth from drying out. |
| 6. | Don't panic if you go wrong. The examiners are looking for your good points not your faults. If you forget your words you haven't automatically failed. |
| 7. | Answer questions in sentences and be loud enough to be heard. |
| 8. | Enjoy the experience. |
