How to Be a Good Prom Date (for Guys)

Prom can be a great time if you know what your doing. Here is how you can be a good prom date.
| 1. | Dress your very best. Haven't a clue how fancy it is? Call your date and ask what to wear. If you're going with a girl ask he what color she's wearing so you can be coordinated. |
| 2. | Remember, as guys it's your job to step aside. This night is more about her then you. Spend tons of time with your date but don't talk too much about yourself. |
| 3. | Practice good chivalry. Pull out the chair for her. Open the car door for her, etc. |
| 4. | Don't be afraid to dance with her. If you're shy, just close your eyes and ask. Most girls really don't care if you're good or not they just want someone to have fun with. |
| 5. | Remember that prom night isn't meant to be completely about romance. It's better to have several friends with you than just your significant other. However, if you are going to be romantic (., slow-dancing, kissing, etc.), make sure that the two of you are alone. |
