How to Get Someone to Stop Liking You

When someone likes you and you don't feel the same for them it can be a delicate situation. You don't want to hurt their feelings but at the same time you can't let them continue to chase you. Here is how to get someone to stop liking you.
| 1. | First of all, don't change your personality majorly. If that is what she likes, then it is probably also what other girls like, esp. if she won't loosen her grip on you crush-wise. |
| 2. | Make sure you don't look like you are trying hard to be around her... but don't blatantly ignore her. If she says hi to you, politely say hi to her. Don't glance at her a bunch to see if she is looking at you- she will take that as a hint. Show that you are focused in school, or your job, whatever it is. |
| 3. | If she asks you out, and you are a ladies man with dating, then kindly tell her that she is a lovely person who you would enjoy getting to know, but wouldn't want to mislead, and wouldn't be true to yourself if you pretended to love her. But make sure you don't absolutely break her heart... and if you don't care much at that point, offer to let her join you and a few friends at the mall or a football game or something. Teach yourself to get to know her well enough to accept her, as a friend, or respectable person. If you aren't comfortable with dating yet, and she asks you out, gently tell her that she is cool but you aren't comfortable dating yet/at this point in your life (but don't use those exact words). |
| 4. | Allow her to be friends with you, and draw the line if she leads you on or stalks you. She will probably know to back off or settle down a little. And if you are full of charm, turn it down a little at her, just keep respect for her. |
