Dating someone who often does drugs can be a challenge. You really need to decide whether it is hindering your relationship. Here is how to date a stoner.
| 1. | Consider whether or not you really want the relationship. If you yourself are not a smoker, you may find the relationship itself to be more straining. |
| 2. | Don't be upset if your partner ignores you/displays inappropriate emotions after they've been smoking. THC is a mild mind altering drug so expect your partner to be different while under its effects. |
| 3. | Try to get some drug-free time to spend by yourselves. Even if you don't have a problem with your partner while he or she is high, it is advisable you get to know them while baseline. |
| 4. | It's likely your partner will have a group of smoking friends. Try your hardest to get along with them, because they will be like brothers to him/her. |
| 5. | Smoking is an individual choice that only you should make. Respect your partner's choices, but make sure that s/he respects yours too. |
| 6. | Count your blessings that you're not dating a violent, abusive drunk. Stoners are easy going people so you will generally have no trouble getting along with them well. |
